Christopher Aleman

Christopher Alemán is an experienced finance and banking professional with a strong background in middle market banking and venture capital. Currently serving as a Venture Partner and Limited Partner at Mendoza Ventures since March 2022, Christopher focuses on supporting early and growth stage AI, fintech, and cybersecurity companies with an emphasis on diverse founders. Prior roles include Vice President and Relationship Manager at Sunflower Bank and Comerica Bank, where Christopher managed portfolios of owner-managed and equity-sponsored companies with annual revenues up to $500 million. Earlier experience includes positions at BBVA in the USA and JPMorgan Chase & Co., where Christopher developed expertise in client relationships and transaction management. Christopher holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, and Economics from SMU Cox School of Business.
