Dr. Dan Burwell

Dr. Dan Burwell has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and positions. Dr. Dan currently holds the role of VP of Strategic Business Development at Menet Aero since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Director on the Board of Directors at SKR Automation since August 2011. In this role, they played a crucial part in the strategic development and growth of the company, utilizing their leadership and management expertise to improve the design of the first-generation flexible tooling systems, resulting in the development of the sought-after Adaptive Tooling System for aerospace manufacturing.

Dr. Burwell also has experience as the President of TLS Services & Consulting, LLC from March 2015 till September 2021 and as the CEO of TLS Aviation from August 2014 until September 2021. Additionally, they worked as an Independent Consultant at Asymmetric Warfare Group from September 2011 to May 2021.

Prior to their civilian roles, Dr. Burwell held the position of Executive Director for Exercise Training & Simulations at Silverback7 from February 2007 to August 2014. Dr. Dan'scareer began in the US Army in 1984, where they served as LTC(R) until 2007.

Dr. Dan Burwell has a diverse education history that spans several years. In 1988-1989, they attended Central Michigan University and earned a Master of Science in Administration (MSA) with a focus on Public Administration. In 1995-1996, Dr. Burwell pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Saint Martin's University, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Dr. Dan furthered their education by attending the Command & General Staff College from 1998-1999, where they obtained a Master of Military Arts and Sciences (MMAS) in History. Finally, in 2011, Dr. Burwell completed their Doctor of Management & Organizational Leadership (DM) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix.
