Vinny Smith

Vinny Smith is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the non-profit and consulting sectors. As Chief Executive of the Meningitis Research Foundation since November 2015, Vinny has spearheaded the initiative to create the world's first WHO Global Roadmap for Meningitis, collaborating with significant organizations including WHO, PATH, and UNICEF. Prior to this role, Vinny founded STAND Consulting Ltd, advising various international clients on strategic development and fundraising, and served as Chief Operating Officer at Development Initiatives where responsibilities included overseeing multiple programs and strategic implementation. Previous roles also include Chief Operating Officer at CO-ORDINATED ACTION AGAINST DOMESTIC ABUSE and a range of managerial positions at Cancer Research UK. Vinny holds an Honours degree in Politics from the University of York.
