Juan Contreras

Juan Contreras has worked in the electronics engineering field since 2016. Theirmost recent role was as a Power Systems Applications Engineer at Menlo Micro, beginning in 2022. Prior to this, they were a Power Electronics Engineer at OnLine Power Inc. from 2020-2022, an Electronics Engineering Technician at Frontier Electronics from 2020-2021, an Electronics Engineering Technician at B&W Engineering Corp. from 2019-2020, a Junior Hardware Support Student Engineer at Marvin Test Solutions from 2018-2019, a Resident Assistant at CFEP- California State Summer School for Math and Science (COSMOS) from 2018-2019, and a Team Lead/Student Researcher at California Plug Load Research Center (CalPlug) from 2016-2018. During their time at CalPlug, they used micro-controllers and connected and programmed them with sensors, and created Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and Schematics using Visio Professional.

Juan Contreras attended UC Irvine from 2014 to 2019, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
