Lindsay Wallace has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of strategy and impact, with a focus on economic development and financial inclusion. Lindsay is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Impact, and the Acting Vice President of Communications and Marketing at MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates). Prior to this, they served as the Director of Strategy at Limestone Analytics and a Senior Advisor at Toronto Centre. Lindsay also worked as a Senior Technical Advisor at Better Than Cash Alliance and held various roles at Mastercard Foundation, including Head of Impact/ Director of Strategy and Learning, Deputy Director of Financial Inclusion, and Program Manager of Microfinance. Additionally, they have experience working at the Department for International Development (DFID), Ontario Ministry of Finance, DFID (again), KPMG, and Cowater International. Throughout their career, Lindsay has demonstrated expertise in strategy development, impact measurement, program management, and financial inclusion, making their a valuable asset in the field.
Lindsay Wallace's education history includes a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics with a specialization in Environmental Economics from the University of Toronto, a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from Carleton University, and a BA Hons in Political Science and Economics from McGill University.
In addition to their formal education, Lindsay has also obtained several certifications. These include the Responsible Investment Professional Certification (RIPC) from the Responsible Investment Association, the Institute for Sustainable Finance Sustainable Investing Program from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, the Applied Responsible Investment certification from the PRI Academy, and the Foundations in Responsible Investment certification from the Principles for Responsible Investment. Lindsay has also completed a Data Analytics course from MIT xPRO, a Gender-based Analysis+ course offered by the Government of Canada, an Artificial Intelligence: An Executive Primer course from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, and became a Certified Expert in Microfinance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
