Joseph Reuben, MD, MBA, FACEP has extensive experience in emergency medicine. Joseph started their career as an Emergency Medicine Physician at AdventHealth Kansas City in 2000 and remained in this role until November 2021. During their time at AdventHealth, they also held various leadership positions including Medical Staff Officer, Medical Staff President, and Emergency Department Medical Director & Chair. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing physician clinical quality, safety, patient experience, and (re)credentialing. Joseph also collaborated with all specialty departments and hospital administrators. Additionally, Dr. Reuben served as the Chief Medical Officer at Menorah Medical Center starting in September 2021.

Joseph Reuben, MD, MBA, FACEP received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1992. Afterwards, they attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine in 1996. Joseph then completed an Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Illinois Chicago in 1999. In 2021, Joseph Reuben obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Joseph also holds a Certification in Emergency Medicine from the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
