Sergio Sobrero Salazar

Sergio Sobrero Salazar has a diverse work experience with a focus on finance and business development. Sergio served as a Board Member and part of the Business Development Committee at Mensajeros Urbanos, a logistics tech startup. Sergio was also a Board Member at Grupo Provivienda. Sergio worked as a Financial Regulation Advisor and Investor at TPaga, a payment gateway that evolved into Colombia's first financial Superapp. Prior to that, they were a Senior Advisor and Team Manager at the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia. Sergio also served as a Senior Advisor at the Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público. Sergio started their career as an Associate at Dentons Cardenas & Cardenas and later worked as a Junior Business Consultant at AKRO Group. Sergio also has experience as an Associate at A&A Multiprime.

Sergio Sobrero Salazar completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at Universidad de Los Andes. Sergio then pursued further education, obtaining a Postgraduate Degree in Capital Markets & Financial Regulation from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Later, they attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Additionally, Sergio completed a certificate program in Digital Business Strategy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and another certificate program in Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management from The Wharton School.
