Harpur Schwartz, MSPH, CHES, CLC, currently serves as the Director of Special Projects at Mental Health America, beginning in April 2024. Previously, Schwartz held the position of Senior Program Analyst for Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health at NACCHO, where leadership roles included enhancing local health departments' capabilities and supervising programmatic staff. Earlier experience as Program Specialist with the Association of University Centers on Disabilities involved a COVID-19 response project. Co-founding a mobile app aimed at empowering college-aged individuals, Schwartz also worked as a Research and Policy Analyst at NIHCM and contributed to maternal and child health projects at ASTHO, where early internships included roles at CNN and CABI. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Connecticut College.
