Kayla Cherry

Kayla Cherry is an experienced professional in health, safety, and organizational leadership with a strong background in program administration and support services. Currently serving as the Environment, Health and Safety Manager at Mental Health America of Los Angeles, Kayla designs and implements comprehensive health and safety programs while conducting safety training and audits. Prior to this role, Kayla held various positions at the College Internship Program (CIP) including Program Administrator and Assistant Program Director, where responsibilities included overseeing operations, enhancing staff culture, and optimizing service delivery. Kayla began a career in education as a Special Education Paraprofessional and a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, further supplementing expertise with a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from California State University, Los Angeles.
