Director Of Addiction And BIP Services at Mental Health Association of South Central Kansas

Meagan Alcorn has extensive experience in the field of mental health and intervention services, currently serving as the BIP Coordinator at the Mental Health Association of South Central Kansas since June 2008, where responsibilities include coordinating the Batterer's Intervention Program and conducting annual program evaluations. In addition, Meagan co-chairs the Offender Accountability Subcommittee, facilitating collaboration among various stakeholders involved in domestic violence intervention. Previous roles include Adult Psychosocial Team Leader and BIP Facilitator at the same organization, where Meagan provided substance and batterer intervention assessments, as well as served as the Adult Psychosocial Coordinator and Dual Diagnosis Specialist at the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier. Early career experience includes positions at Liberty Juvenile Services and Triality Inc. Meagan is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at Wichita State University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies and Geology, an Associate of Arts in Addiction, and a high school diploma from Derby High School.
