Alyssa Rashid is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in education and community engagement. Currently serving as a Planetarium Presenter at Astronomy in Action since August 2024, Alyssa also holds the role of Bilingual Course Moderator with the Mental Health Commission of Canada since May 2021. Previous experience includes multiple teacher candidate positions within the Toronto District School Board and The Mabin School, alongside roles as a Learning Facilitator at McMaster Children and Youth University and Co-President at Habitat for Humanity McMaster. Alyssa's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Child Study and Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Honours Human Behaviour from McMaster University.
