Kathy Lott is an experienced mental health professional with a robust background in education and training. Currently serving as a Mental Health First Aid Trainer at the Mental Health Commission of Canada since November 2017, Kathy specializes in supporting adults who interact with youth. Previously, Kathy held the position of Project Lead for Supporting Student Mental Health at the Ontario Principals' Council from January 2020 to March 2021. With extensive experience as a Principal at the York Region District School Board from February 2004 to June 2019, as well as roles as a Consultant and Teacher at the Toronto District School Board from 1989 to 2003, Kathy's expertise encompasses guidance, social and personal skills development, and safe school initiatives. Kathy Lott earned a Bachelor's Degree from Brock University between 1984 and 1989 and also studied at York University.
