Maureen Lewis

Maureen Lewis is a seasoned professional in the mental health sector, currently serving as the Mental Health Commissioner for the Mental Health Commission of Western Australia since July 2023. Prior to this role, Maureen held the position of Executive Director at Child and Adolescent Health Service from April 2022 to June 2023. From June 2020 to April 2022, Maureen was the Director of Priority Programs at the New South Wales Ministry of Health. Maureen's extensive experience also includes serving as the Deputy and Interim Chief Executive Officer at the National Mental Health Commission from July 2016 to April 2020, and as the Assistant Commissioner for Policy, Planning and Strategy at the Mental Health Commission of Western Australia from September 2014 to March 2016.
