Emily Martinez

Emily Martinez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Emily began their career as an Off-Campus Housing Consultant at UC Merced Housing and Residence Life in 2017. Emily then worked as a Counselor II at Creative Alternatives, Inc- Foster Family Agency in 2018. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of Behavioral Therapist at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, LLC. (CARD), and simultaneously served as a Bilingual Instructional Aide at CHOWCHILLA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT. In 2020, they worked as a Student Aide/Sports Coach at Sports For Learning and later became a Support Counselor III at Stars Behavioral Health Group. Currently, they hold the position of Bilingual Care Manager C&Y at Mental Health Cooperative starting in 2022.

Emily Martinez attended Marco Antonio Firebaugh High School from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following that, they attended the University of California, Merced from 2014 to 2018, earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. In terms of additional certifications, Emily has obtained several. In March 2020, they became a Board Certified Autism Technician from the Behavioral Intervention Certification Council. In October 2020, they completed "The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" through Google Digital Garage. Most recently, in September 2021, they obtained certifications as a Certified Health Coach and a Certified Life Coach from the Health Coach Institute.
