Dave Pickard is an experienced professional in the mental health sector, currently serving as Operations Director at Touchstone Support since January 2022 and as a Mental Health First Aid Trainer for MHFA England since August 2018. Previously, Dave held key positions including Head of Community Operations at Midland Mencap and various roles at The Kaleidoscope Plus Group, focusing on corporate business development and wellbeing services. Additional experience includes work as a Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Practitioner and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. Dave's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons in Special Needs and Inclusion from the University of Wolverhampton and a BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care from Harrogate College.

We are Mental Health First Aid England. We’re a social enterprise with a vision to improve the mental health of the nation. Our evidence-based training gives people tools to support themselves and each other, so everyone can talk about mental health and seek help when needed. Most adults spend at least a third of their time at work, so we start there to change how society deals with mental health now and in the future.
