Sam Gray is a skilled professional with diverse experience in recruitment and mental health advocacy. Currently serving as a Mental Health First Aider at Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England since November 2022, Sam has previously held roles such as Senior Recruitment Consultant at Marvel FMCG and Head of Delivery at ECW Search, where extensive knowledge within the FMCG and consumer industries was utilized to recruit top talent. Sam also hosts the Staying Well at Work podcast, addressing mental health disparities in the workplace, particularly in the FMCG sector. Additional roles include Managing Consultant and Account Executive in various consumer goods and sales positions, demonstrating a strong background in sales and marketing. Educational foundations were established at Lord Williams' School and Icknield Community College.

We are Mental Health First Aid England. We’re a social enterprise with a vision to improve the mental health of the nation. Our evidence-based training gives people tools to support themselves and each other, so everyone can talk about mental health and seek help when needed. Most adults spend at least a third of their time at work, so we start there to change how society deals with mental health now and in the future. Over the last decade, we’ve provided expert consultancy and training to over 20,000 workplaces. We want mentally healthy workplaces for all. We campaign for equality between mental and physical health in the workplace. We advocate a whole organisation approach and lead by example. As a social enterprise, we reinvest our profits to support the next generation. We offer free and discounted training to those in the sports and recreation sectors working with young people.
