Leigh Braden, MSW, currently serves as the Division Director of Training & Education at Mental Health Partnerships MHPHOPE, managing a team of 13 employees since June 2021. Previously, Leigh held the position of Curriculum and Training Manager/Supervisor at Turning Points for Children, where responsibilities included overseeing training programs for foster parents and modernizing training delivery methods. As a co-founder and co-chair of the Philadelphia Coalition for Queer Justice and Intersectional Equity, Leigh organized a significant symposium addressing the issues faced by LGBTQ+ youth in the child welfare system during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Leigh has extensive consulting experience, having served as Chief Consultant in Development and Strategy at LTB Consulting, and has been instrumental in the growth of A Second Chance Inc. Leigh's earlier roles include founding the Foyer of Philadelphia, which supports LGBTQ youth transitioning out of foster care, and managing social services for low-income housing communities. Leigh Braden holds a Master of Social Work degree from Temple University.
