Karen Walker is an experienced instructor and coach specializing in workplace culture, mental health, and leadership development. Currently affiliated with Culture Smart since 2017, Karen instructs on various mental health topics and engages leaders through innovative coaching methodologies. Karen has facilitated numerous Mental Health First Aid courses at Mental Health Victoria and Swinburne University of Technology. A consultant and speaker, Karen's expertise encompasses change management, organizational transformation, and psychosocial wellbeing, with a strong background in public speaking and community engagement. With a rich history in program management and consultancy across various sectors, including health and local government, Karen has worked with notable clients and led significant change initiatives in organizational settings. Educational achievements include degrees from the University of Melbourne and the University of Auckland, complemented by a Master’s single subject study in management from Charles Sturt University.

Mental Health Victoria is the peak body for mental health and wellbeing in Victoria. Mental Health Victoria specialises in public policy, workforce development and training, and services that build individual, organisational and community capacity.
