Mental Health Victoria
Richard Newton is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Peninsula Health since August 2017 and serves as a Board Member for multiple organizations, including Wandi Nerida, Wellways Australia, Mental Health Victoria, and The Butterfly Foundation. Additionally, Richard holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Monash University since August 2018. Previous roles include Clinical Director at BETRS from March 2011 to August 2017 and Medical Director of the Mental Health CSU at Austin Health from February 2009 to August 2017. Richard obtained an MBChB in Medicine from The University of Edinburgh between 1980 and 1985 and participated in WCLP in 2015.
