In 1988, the Mentholatum company was acquired by Rohto, a Japanese pharmaceuticals group. Rohto is a major player in the Japanese pharmaceutical market with top selling products in the topical pain relief, eyecare and skincare categories. In 1978 Mentholatum Australia was established and from our Australian head office based in Scoresby, Victoria, we now service a number of markets including Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and several Asian markets.
