George Mastorakis

George Mastorakis has held a variety of positions in the technology field since 2003. George began their career as a Research Associate at the Centre for Technological Research of Crete in 2003. In 2010, they joined the Technological Educational Institute of Crete as an Assistant Professor, and was later promoted to Associate Professor. In 2015, they co-founded Mentionlytics. In 2019, they were appointed Director of the e-Business Intelligence Lab and also became an Associate Professor at Hellenic Mediterranean University.

George Mastorakis obtained their B.Eng. (Hons) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) between 1996 and 2000. George then went on to obtain their M.Sc. in Telecommunications from UCL between 2000 and 2001. Finally, they completed their Ph.D. in Telecommunications from the University of the Aegean between 2005 and 2008.
