Jim Downum

A co-founder of Mentis Technology, Jim has more than 30 years of engineering and software development expertise. Prior to co-founding Mentis, Mr. Downum developed several leading-edge technologies in automated software tools development, data warehousing, automated testing and generic report writers. He has managed the development process for software systems in diverse industries such as banking, printing, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, public-sector and non-profit organizations. Additionally, Mr. Downum is the co-inventor and patent holder of both an automated ERP testing and a large scale automated ERP benchmarking software system. He holds a B.S. in Physics from the California Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Experimental High Energy Particle Physics from Cornell University.
