Christina Malinowski

Steam Instructor at Mentor Public Schools

Christina Malinowski is an experienced educator with a strong background in STEAM instruction and technology integration. Since August 2009, Christina has served as a STEAM Instructor at Mentor Public Schools, implementing Project Lead The Way (PLTW) units for K-5 students and collaborating with the STEAM team to develop lessons and assessments. Previously, Christina was a Technology Specialist, providing training on software and tools for teachers and engaging students in project-based learning. Before that, from August 1998 to June 2009, Christina worked as an Elementary Teacher for grades 2, 3, and 6 at Mentor Exempted Village Public Schools, specializing in math and science across all subjects. Christina holds two Master’s degrees from John Carroll University, one in Educational Administration and another in Instructional Technology.

Mentor Public Schools is a suburban school district that serves more than 7,700 students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from the City of Mentor and the surrounding communities of Mentor-on-the-Lake, Concord Township, and Kirtland Hills. Our district operates eight elementary schools, three middle schools, one high school and one state-of-the-art specialized school for students with autism, with just under 1,000 employees.
