Mentor Public Schools
Michelle Kane is an experienced art educator who has been teaching at Mentor Exempted Village Public Schools since 1994, where responsibilities include serving as the Secondary Art Department Coordinator. Prior to this role, Michelle Kane worked as an art educator at Cleveland Public Schools from 1995 to 1996. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from both Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Art, completed between 1989 and 1992, along with a Master in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College, obtained in 2002.

Mentor Public Schools is a suburban school district that serves more than 7,700 students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from the City of Mentor and the surrounding communities of Mentor-on-the-Lake, Concord Township, and Kirtland Hills. Our district operates eight elementary schools, three middle schools, one high school and one state-of-the-art specialized school for students with autism, with just under 1,000 employees.
