Luis David Soto is the current Chair Person at Mentor Technical Group. Prior to this, they were with Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. – Landis & Gyr Division from March 1996 to August 1999 as General Manager. Luis was responsible for managing and supervising all Branch Operations areas for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, and directly supervised a staff of four managers and indirectly supervised sixty-one branch personnel. Luis was also responsible for the start-up of the Caribbean Branch Operation including Dominican Republic and Virgin Island. Luis increased revenue from 3.9MM to 9.5MM from 1999 to 2001, and reduced revenue to overhead ratio from 38% to 20%. Luis designed, constructed and relocated the SIEMENS Caribbean branch new office, developed the critical environment Business unit focus on the pharmaceutical industry, and developed the Human Resources Policies to comply with the Puerto Rico Laws. Luis also increased the Technical Support Program (maintenance contract) by 150%.
From October 1993 to December 1996, they were Utilities Manager at Janssen Ortho LLC - Division of Johnson & Johnson, PR. And from January 1990 to December 1993, they were Site Utilities Supervisor at Warner Lambert, Inc.
Luis David Soto has a MBA from the Polytechnic University of PR and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the same school.
