Simon Darmody

Simon Darmody is a seasoned technology and cyber security professional with extensive experience in program and delivery management. Currently serving as a Delivery Lead at Increment since June 2025, Simon also founded The Shortlist Coach in April 2025, focusing on IT and delivery career success. As a member of the Australian Information Security Association and a mentor at Mentoring Men, Simon has cultivated a strong professional network. Previous roles include Cyber Security Program Manager at WaterNSW, where Simon significantly improved the enterprise cyber uplift program, and Senior Program Manager at the Reserve Bank of Australia, leading the Essential 8 Cybersecurity Uplift Program. Simon also directed a $13 million cybersecurity uplift program at PwC, managed a security portfolio at Optus, and contributed to cultural transformation at IAG. A holder of an M.B.A. in Technology from AGSM @ UNSW and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies & Language from UNSW, Simon possesses a robust foundation in technology and management.
