Annegien Blokpoel

CFO & Venture Builder, part of the leadership team at Mentorjam

Annegien Blokpoel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2006, they founded and became the Managing Partner of PerspeXo - Simplicity in Strategy, where they assist company boards, owners, and managers in enhancing profitability and value creation. Annegien is also a boardroom advisor and strategic consultant. In 2019, they joined Bits of Stock as an Advisor, helping CEOs transition and grow value. Annegien has also served as a Member of the Board of Advisors for Crowdsense.ai and as an Advisor and Lead Angel Board for 3D CLICK. Annegien has been involved in the startup ecosystem as a Crack Team Investor for Collider and as an Archangel and member of Arches Capital, bridging the gap between venture capitalists and angel investors. Annegien has also contributed their expertise to NWO (Dutch Research Council) as a member of the NWO Adviescommissie Take Off Program. Additionally, Annegien has served as an Executive Mentor for the Palestinian Internship & Mentorship Program (PIP & PMP), providing strategic support and industry knowledge to Palestinian tech entrepreneurs. Annegien'smost recent role is as the CFO and Venture Builder, part of the leadership team, at StellarUp (formerly known as Mentorjam), a fast-growing HR/Edu-tech company with a focus on knowledge sharing and personal growth.

Annegien Blokpoel pursued their education starting in 1986 when they attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Annegien completed a Mechina, BBA program from 1986 to 1988, focusing on the field of study in BBA. Subsequently, from 1988 to 1992, Annegien Blokpoel enrolled at the University of Amsterdam, where they earned an MBA degree specializing in Business economics and International Finance.
