Kelsey Hinchliffe has worked in various roles since 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they were a University Ambassador at High Point University and a Sourcing Intern at GE. In 2012, they were a Lecturer and Research Assistant at the University of Maryland and a Marketing Assistant at Chapin Davis, Inc. Kelsey also worked as a Member Services Associate at the Y of Central Maryland in 2013. Since 2018, they have been a Competitive Media Analyst at Mentzer Media, where they collect and analyzes political media schedules to provide clients with accurate and timely reports of spending.

Kelsey Hinchliffe completed their undergraduate studies at High Point University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government in 2012 and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication in 2012. Kelsey then went on to pursue their graduate studies at the University of Maryland, where they earned a Master of Arts in American Government and Politics in 2014. Kelsey completed their Doctor of Philosophy in American Government and Politics at the University of Maryland in 2019.
