Alan Glen is an experienced aviation professional with over 30 years in the industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President (Group) Risk at Menzies Aviation since January 2018, Alan oversees the Group operational risk function, focusing on safety, security, operational standards, training, and compliance. Previous roles include Vice President of Cargo Development and Head of Operational Learning at Menzies Aviation, and Training Manager at CAE. Alan's extensive career began in the Royal Air Force, where foundational technical training was gained, leading to various managerial roles at Cathay Pacific Airways, including General Manager of Cargo Services and Manager of Ground Training. Alan holds a BTEC in Airframes Propulsion from the No.1 School of Technical Training at Royal Air Force Halton.
