Lars Dannecker

Lars Dannecker is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and cloud infrastructure. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Mesalvo GmbH since August 2025, Lars previously held the position of VP of Engineering at Everest Systems, where leadership inspired a high-performing global team dedicated to AI-powered financial applications. At Google, Lars excelled as Senior Engineering Lead, enhancing resource utilization across international cloud data centers. Lars's long tenure at SAP involved various leadership roles, culminating as Senior Director and Head of SAP HANA Cloud Infrastructure, successfully managing large teams and transforming them into high-performance units. Lars holds a PhD in System Architecture and Database Design, as well as a Master's degree in Computer Science, both from Technische Universität Dresden.
