James Stephenson

James Stephenson has extensive experience in the creative and entertainment industry. James is currently working as the SVP, Creative Director, and Emerging Media at Meow Wolf, where they are responsible for creative strategy and execution in expanding the company's signature creative across emerging media platforms. Prior to this, James worked as an Independent Creative Executive and Producer, collaborating with high-profile media and gaming clients on IP strategy, creative development, and animation production.

Before their current role, James served as the EVP, Entertainment at Wonderstorm, a story and play media studio. During their time there, they contributed to the growth of Wonderstorm as a leading storytelling and interactive entertainment company. Prior to Wonderstorm, they held various positions at Nickelodeon, including SVP roles in Animation Development & Production (Original Series), Content Development (Digital), and Creative Director (Digital). In these roles, they oversaw the development and production of animated series, managed creative teams, and led content development for digital platforms. Additionally, James had a role at MTV Networks as the VP of Digital Creative, Product Development.

James also has experience as a Creative Director at Atom Entertainment, where they worked on online entertainment sites. Throughout their career, James has demonstrated their ability to create engaging entertainment and IP across media platforms, develop new projects, and oversee production.
