Jan Pieter Schretlen

Jan Pieter Schretlen has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the food and beverage industry. Jan Pieter currently serves as the CEO of Mepal since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director at Jack Link's EMEA from 2014 to 2022. In 2013, they founded their own company called Schretlen Business Acceleration. Before that, they held the position of Managing Director at Refresco Benelux from 2011 to 2013. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as the General Manager Beverage North America at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS. Previously, they held multiple roles at Jacobs Douwe Egberts Professional and Douwe Egberts in various managerial positions. Jan Pieter started their career as a Product Manager at Duyvis in 1995.

Jan Pieter Schretlen completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Nyenrode Business University during the years 1993-1994. Prior to that, Schretlen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university, studying from 1990-1993. Additionally, in April 2018, they obtained a certification called "2-Day Growth Hacking Crash Course" from Growth Tribe Academy.
