Melanie Oteyza

Melanie Oteyza serves as the Senior Vice President and Group Chief Audit Executive at MERALCO since October 2018, leading the Internal Audit function to enhance organizational operations and ensure compliance with corporate governance and ethical standards. Prior to this role, Melanie held the position of Director of Corporate Governance and Internal Audit at PT Rajawali Corpora, where responsibilities included implementing best practices in audit and risk management while partnering with leadership to improve business performance. Additional experience includes roles as Audit Director for SingTel, Senior Manager at Protiviti Pte Ltd, and various managerial positions in internal audit across companies such as National Foods Limited, PLDT, and Digital Telecommunications Philippines Inc. Melanie started a career as a Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Santo Tomas and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, specializing in Accounting from the same university.
