Petra Schultz

Petra Schultz has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Petra is currently working at Merative as a Health Tech Pharmacist and Editor in Chief for Micromedex. Prior to this, they worked at IBM, where they served as Leader of Micromedex Editorial Services and Deputy Chief Health Officer. Petra also held the position of Associate Chief Health Officer, where they played a key role in translating the scientific evidence behind IBM Watson Health products and services to support the business. Petra has also worked at Truven Health Analytics, Thomson Reuters, Mayo Clinic, Medical University of South Carolina, Shands Jacksonville, Eckerd Drug Store, and Publix Super Markets, where they gained experience in various roles such as Director of Product Management, Editorial Manager, Senior Clinical Content Specialist, Coordinator of Therapeutic Policy Management, and Assistant Professor and Clinical Specialist in Drug Information, among others. Overall, Petra's work experience showcases their expertise in healthcare, drug information, formulary management, and leadership roles.

Petra Schultz received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing from the Florida State University - College of Business. Petra attended the university from 1988 to 1992. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Florida. Petra completed their pharmacy studies from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, Petra obtained the certification of Registered Pharmacist from Florida Health in July 1998.

In November 2020, Petra Schultz also completed The Leadership Consortium (TLC) Leaders Program, earning a Certificate of Completion from the organization.
