Leonardo Assis

Leonardo Assis has a diverse work experience in various companies. Leonardo started their career as an Analista de Suporte at Terra Networks in 2003 and worked there until 2005. Leonardo then joined TIM Brasil as a Sales Consultant from 2005 to 2006. In 2009, Leonardo joined Locaweb as a Linux System Administrator, where they managed and maintained a large farm of Linux servers. Leonardo also held the role of Coordenador, Operaçõs de TI at Locaweb from 2016 to 2020. In 2020, they worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at Dasa before joining Mercado Bitcoin as a Tech Lead Site Reliability Engineer later in the same year.

Leonardo Assis completed their education between 2015 and 2017 at Centro Universitário Eniac, where they obtained a Tecnólogo em Gestão da Tecnologia da Informação (Technology Information Management) degree. Leonardo further enhanced their knowledge and skills by obtaining various certifications. In March 2015, they earned the RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) certification from Red Hat. Additionally, they completed multiple online courses, including Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure, Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation, Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services, Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation, Reliable Cloud Infrastructure: Design and Process, Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Containers and Services, and Preparing for the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Exam. These courses were conducted by Coursera. In October 2018, they also obtained the Lean IT - LITA certification from IT Partners Consultoria & Treinamento. Lastly, in September 2020, they completed the SRE Foundations certification administered by Google.
