Juan Carlos Vivas Montoya is a seasoned UX Designer and Analyst with a strong background in product design and development. Currently serving as a Senior UX Designer at Mercado Libre since February 2021, prior experiences include senior roles at Mi Águila and CÍVICO, where responsibility encompassed enhancing user experiences and product ownership. At PayU, focus was on improving electronic payment adoption across Latin America. Juan Carlos also has extensive experience from Wigilabs, where tasks involved product research, design, prototyping, and user testing. Earlier in the career, software development roles were held at Sincotel Solutions, BLINK IMAGEN Ltda, and EMCALI. Juan Carlos holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Occidente and has undertaken multiple professional courses in UX design and product development.
