Rudi Edelmann

Rudi Edelmann is a seasoned professional in software engineering and machine learning, currently serving as a Software Engineering Senior Expert at Mercado Libre since September 2018, where Rudi has also held roles as Machine Learning Expert and Technical Team Lead. Prior experience includes positions as Senior DevOps Engineer and Technical Team Lead at Machinalis from November 2015 to November 2018. Rudi contributed to academia as a guest lecturer on UNIX server administration at UNC in 2014. Early in Rudi's career, roles included Sysadmin at Fulgor and systems administrator at the Faculty of Exact Sciences at UNC, alongside responsibilities in network administration and technical support in various organizations. Rudi possesses degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from UNC and a background in physical mathematics.
