Santiago Hernandez

Santiago Hernandez is an accomplished logistics and operations leader with extensive experience across Latin America. Currently serving as the Head of Transportation for the Andean Region at Mercado Libre since April 2020, Santiago oversees operations in Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador, managing a team of over 1,500 full-time employees. Previously, as Senior Manager for Mercado Envios Colombia, Santiago established the largest logistics network for e-commerce in the country. Prior roles include Regional Manager at Grow Mobility, where Santiago was responsible for operations in Mexico, Colombia, and Peru, and Country Manager in Colombia, launching Grin and achieving 2 million trips in one year. Santiago's earlier experience includes pivotal positions at Linio Group, where oversight of operations spanned across multiple countries in Latin America, and roles at Mondelēz International and Technicolor in Europe focusing on supply chain management. Santiago holds a Master’s Degree and an Engineer’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Industrial Engineering from Université de Technologie de Troyes.
