Sergio Pajares

Sergio Pajares is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Mercadona where Sergio oversees innovation in technology, application and infrastructure architecture, as well as leading various projects focused on enterprise architecture. Prior to this role, Sergio held positions such as Head of Innovation in Technology and Enterprise Architect at the same company.

Before joining Mercadona, Sergio worked as a Researcher in Artificial Intelligence at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Sergio holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science specializing in Artificial Intelligence, along with several other degrees in related fields. Sergio also has experience as a SAP Development and Integration Team Leader prior to their current position.
