Tom Gottschalk

Tom Gottschalk has over 30 years of experience in various roles within the business development and pharmaceutical industries. Tom is currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development at Mercalis, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at TrialCard for 15 years, starting as a Senior Director of Business Development in May 2008 and eventually transitioning to their role as Vice President before leaving in January 2023.

Tom also held positions at prominent pharmaceutical companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, and Mylan Bertek Pharmaceuticals, where they gained valuable experience as an Executive Sales Representative, Anti-Inflammatory and Analgesic Specialty Representative, Product Manager, and Territory Sales Manager.

Before entering the pharmaceutical industry, Tom had a sales management role at Cable Television Marketing of America and worked as a Wellness Coordinator at Wrangler Jeans. Tom began their professional career as a Regional Sales Specialist at UNX Incorporated.

Throughout their career, Tom has achieved several accomplishments in the pharmaceutical industry, including winning performance awards and being recognized for market share growth. Tom has demonstrated their expertise in sales, market analysis, and strategic planning.

Tom Gottschalk attended East Carolina University from 1984 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Worksite Wellness and Health Promotion.
