James Hardcastle has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. James began their career at Future Shop, where they held positions as Department Manager and later as Senior Category Manager. James then joined Best Buy Canada, where they served as Group Category Manager, Director of Merchandising (Digital Services & New Business Development), Director of Service Strategy, Director of Pricing Strategy, and Director of Merchandising & Inventory Operations. In these roles, they led cross-functional teams, implemented strategic plans, and managed various functions such as demand planning, pricing strategy, and category management. Hardcastle also worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Men In Kilts, where they were responsible for the strategic direction and operational performance of the company. James later joined GetintheLoop as the Vice President of Franchise Operations, overseeing revenue generation and brand loyalty. Currently, Hardcastle is the Vice President at Mercana Furniture and Decor.

James Hardcastle holds an Honors BA degree in Political Science and Commerce from Western University. James also obtained certifications in Operational Excellence Foundations, Six Sigma Foundations, and Product Management: Building a Product Strategy from LinkedIn in 2019.
