Petloe Gerald Muroa

Petloe Gerald Muroa has extensive experience in exchange control management within the banking sector. Since July 2014, Petloe has served as the Exchange Control Manager at Mercantile Bank. Prior to this role, from February 2009 to June 2014, Petloe held the position of Manager - Exchange Control Compliance at Standard Bank, where responsibilities included overseeing exchange control compliance and Balance of Payments reporting for the Corporate and Investment Banking division. Earlier experience includes working as an Exchange Control Officer at the South African Reserve Bank from February 2005 to February 2009, focusing on portfolio investment applications for institutional clients. Petloe holds a Baccalareus degree in Accounting with concentrations in Financial Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, and Cost & Management accounting from the University of the Free State, obtained between 2001 and 2003.
