Allen Smith

Allen Smith has over 30 years of experience in IT and data analytics within the banking industry. Allen currently serves as the SVP/Data Analytics and Automation Manager at Mercantile Bank, where Allen oversees the Fiserv Premier Core Banking System for a financial institution with 46 offices, 650+ employees, and 3B in assets. Prior to this, Allen was the VP/Information Technology Officer at Firstbank for over 25 years, overseeing core banking applications during a period of significant growth. Allen also has experience as an Assistant Programmer at Central Michigan University, where Allen developed various software applications. Allen holds a BS in Computer Science and Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
