Angela Herrera

Angela Herrera has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Angela began their career in 1996 as a Health Services Manager in the United States Air Force, where they served on active duty until 2008. Angela then transferred to the United States Air Force Reserves and retired in 2016. Throughout their military career, Angela gained extensive experience in leadership and management.

Following their military service, Angela joined the Mercantile Bank of Michigan in 2016 as a Customer Service Representative. In the same year, they also worked as an Advocate Intern for the Capital Area Response Effort.

In 2017, Angela joined the Michigan Department of Transportation as a Department Technician until October 2017. Angela then transitioned to the role of Property Analyst, where they worked until September 2018. Angela continued their work in property analysis at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, starting in September 2018.
