John Byl

John Byl started their work experience in 1991 at JP Morgan Chase as VP- Treasury Management Team Lead until 2004. In 2004, they joined Mercantile Bank of Michigan and held the roles of SVP Product Development and SVP Treasury Sales Manager until December 2016.

John Byl attended Calvin University from 1987 to 1991 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business. John then pursued further education at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a graduate degree in Banking. In addition to their formal education, John Byl obtained certification as a Certified Treasury Professional from the Association for Financial Professionals in July 2001.
