Batel Gortler currently serves as Legal Counsel and Legal Risk Manager at Mercantile Discount Bank Ltd. since February 2016, focusing on Legal Risk Management, Banking & Financial Regulation, risk management implementation, and compliance guidance in a complex regulatory environment. Previously, from February 2014 to July 2015, Batel Gortler worked as a Lawyer at Yehuda Raveh & Co. Law Firm in the Liquidation & Receivership Department, specializing in insolvency and complex debt arrangements. Batel Gortler began a legal internship in the Litigation Department at Weksler, Bregman & Co. Advocates from September 2012 to August 2013. Batel Gortler holds both a Master of Laws (LLM) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Bar-Ilan University, completed in 2012 and 2012, respectively.
