Samuel F Poirier

Samuel F Poirier serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mercantile since January 2021, where the organization enhances small business purchasing power through specialized financial services. In addition to this role, Samuel is a Peter Thiel Fellow at The Thiel Foundation, a prestigious program aimed at empowering exceptional individuals under the age of 23 with a focus on business and science. Previously, Samuel co-founded and served as CEO of Cruisehub from March 2017 to February 2021, modernizing the cruise booking sector, and held similar positions at Retinad, a leader in VR analytics, until its acquisition in 2018. Samuel also co-founded Yagi Card, recognized for issuing the world's first Bitcoin Debit Card, and successfully raised funding for that venture.
