Vikas Sharma

Vikas Sharma has a strong background in revenue accounting and customer service within the aviation industry. Vikas started their career in 2005 as a Customer Service Representative at WNS Global Services, where they focused on outbound and inbound billing of other airline documents. In 2007, they joined Emirates Airline as a Senior Account Assistant, responsible for processing interline billings and ensuring data integrity in the RAPID database. Vikas then moved on to the role of Proration and Fares Supervisor, where they analyzed special prorate agreements and tax/fare circulars to maintain revenue clarity and completeness. In 2013, Vikas became a Business Support Group Supervisor at Emirates Airlines, where they prepared user requirement documents and conducted comprehensive tests of new functionality in the RAPID system. Vikas then transitioned to Mercator Solutions in 2014, where they initially served as a Revenue Accounts Supervisor, managing a team and analyzing industry changes to proactively plan for system/process changes. Vikas later became a Revenue Account Officer, focusing on passenger revenue database setup and project implementation. Throughout their career, Vikas has demonstrated strong analytical and leadership skills, as well as a commitment to ensuring revenue accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Vikas Sharma attended V.K.K. Menon College of Commerce and Science from 2001 to 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.
