Kate de Lanoy

Kate De Lanoy has extensive work experience in communications and media relations. Kate started their career in 2010 as a Media Relations Associate at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. Kate then joined the United States Senate as a Deputy Press Secretary from January 2013 to July 2014. Returning to the Mercatus Center, they worked as an Associate Director of Media Relations from July 2014 to May 2017. Kate was then promoted to Director of Media Relations, a role they held from June 2017 to January 2020. Currently, they serve as the Director of Communications at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.

Kate De Lanoy earned their B.A. degree in Political Economy and Speech from Hillsdale College, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.
