Revana Sharfuddin

Revana Sharfuddin is a predoctoral researcher at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University as of June 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a student research assistant for the Questionnaire Development Unit at SHARE (Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe) from April 2022 to March 2024, and a student assistant at IZA - Institute of Labor Economics, where support was provided to the Gender, Growth and Labour Markets in Low-Income Countries team from May 2022 to December 2023. Previously, Revana served as a research assistant to Professor Mark Koyama at George Mason University, focusing on 17th-century England's religious, political, and economic developments from May 2018 to August 2022. In addition, Revana was involved in the IFREE/GMU Summer Scholar program under Kevin McCabe in computational and experimental economics. Revana's academic background includes a B.A. in Economics from George Mason University and a Master's in Development Economics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
